Between the Vaucluse and the Alpes de Haute Provence, at the foot of the Lure mountains, the route winds through a landscape dotted with lavender fields and clifftop villages.
A pleasant and peaceful little road through the beautiful hills of the Luberon region leads to the village of Lurs, perched up on a green spur above the Durance valley.
